Yes — for the vast majority of cases, Invisalign achieves the same results as traditional braces, often faster. It's effective for crowding, spacing, overbite, underbite, crossbite, and more. During your free consultation, Dr. Nath will confirm whether Invisalign is suitable for your specific case.
For best results, aligners should be worn 20–22 hours per day. You remove them only for eating, drinking (except water), brushing, and flossing. The more consistently you wear them, the faster and more effective your treatment will be.
There may be a very slight lisp during the first few days as your tongue adjusts to the aligners. This typically disappears within a week. Most patients speak completely normally within 3–5 days of starting treatment.
Invisalign is not painful, but you may feel mild pressure or tenderness for 1–2 days when switching to a new set of aligners — this is completely normal and a sign that your teeth are moving. It's far more comfortable than traditional braces.
Treatment time varies by case. Minor corrections can be complete in as little as 6 months, while more complex cases may take 12–18 months. Dr. Nath will give you a precise timeline during your free 3D smile scan consultation.
Absolutely. Unlike braces, there are zero food restrictions with Invisalign. Simply remove your aligners before eating, enjoy whatever you like, brush your teeth, and put the aligners back in. It's that simple.
After completing treatment, you'll wear a custom retainer — initially full-time, then just at night. The retainer keeps your teeth in their new position permanently. All our Invisalign packages include your retainer as standard.
Yes. Invisalign Teen is specifically designed for teenagers and includes compliance indicators (small dots that fade with wear) and additional replacement aligners. It's an excellent option for teens who want to straighten teeth without the self-consciousness of metal braces.
